In her writing for the course Vietnamese Culture, Eva Filusztkova wrote “My stay in Vietnam had a huge impact on me and to an extend changed my perception of the world I live in. This trip offered me a quick look into other people’s way of live, way of thinking and having fun. Thanks to the course “Vietnamese culture” I could for the first time really understand why are Vietnamese people the way they are. Vietnam gives you time to pause, relax and reflect on your own life! Vietnam gives you a chance to slow down.”

The I-Summer Program for UJEP students had started in February based on student exchange program between NTU and UJEP. Through the program, students studied courses on Marine Biodiversity, Fisheries/Coastal management, Vietnam Econ-tourism, Practice course in Microbiology, Chemical Environment and Molecular biology, Vietnam Art History and so on. Many field trips were organized to areas of Khanh Hoa province and other areas in Central Vietnam such as Hoi An Ancient Town, Da Nang City, Hue City, My Son Sanctuary to help students see local daily life, and people, to visit tourist spots and explore traditional cuisine.
